Hey Wen, my smartass comment above aside... I love the side by side comparison...

What would also be supercool is to throw in a mourevedre from the southern Rhone ( though admittedly might be tough to find it as a standalone grape and not part of a blend) ,maybe one from Australia, and a monastrell from Jumilla Spain (Juan Gil makes an excellent one at a very user friendly price point) for a global comparison

Lou when I saw I had a 2020 Mourvedre that happened to be WA I asked if we wanted to do that similar or different as I had a few in my stash of various vintages. The group wanted to stay in WA and go same year. If we had more folks I may have opened another bottle to give a more global tasting on this grape. Thank you for your support of my posts, I do appreciate it.
